Arroyo introduces RP climate change delegation to Pinoys in Denmark
Speaking before about 300 members of the Filipino community in Denmark at the Hilton Hotel in Copenhagen on Wednesday, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo introduced the Philippine delegation which included top government officials who, according to her, each have his or her own roles in the government’s climate change mitigation efforts.xxxAfter declaring in her speech to the United Nations Conference on Climate Change that, "We cannot leave Copenhagen without a deal," the President flew back to Manila Friday morning before any deal had been reached at the climate summit.
