The Genesis of the Mayuga report

1. On the first day, God, err... Gloria in the Palace said: Let there be a report. Let Col. Mayuga do it and let him investigate all the generals implicated in the "Hello Garci!" controversy.

So Mayuga did it and finished the report on the first day.

But the report was done at the wake of the night. So there was deadening silence. Gloria saw it was good.

2. On the second day, Gloria was hovering in hot water. So she said: Let Mayuga be promoted to vice admiral that I will have someone to step to or call in like Garci.

So Mayuga was promoted and Gloria saw it was good.

But many are prodding for the release of the report. And Gloria in the Palace could only wait and see like Madam Choi who now holds the top post for the "tagapagsilbi" in the Palace. But prodding still continued and Gloria in the Palace can do nothing more.

3. On the third day, Gloria was being prodded for the release of the report so she said: Let the report reach me.

So the report was passed on from the AFP Chief to the Defense Secretary. And from the Defense secretary it was passed on to Gloria in the Palace. But prodding continued. And Gloria saw it was not good.

4. On the fourth day, prodding continued so Gloria in the Palace can do nothing but give in to the demands of the government detractors and terrorists and so on and so forth. So Gloria in the Palace said: Let the report be released!

And it was not so. (Well, maybe only God can do that!)

5. Because nobody knows who will release the report, and because of the continues prodding and uneasiness, Gloria in the Palace said: Let the AFP release the report.

And (again), it was not so. But Mike Defensor organized a conference and issued some highlights in the report. So there was uneasiness and restlessness and speculations.

6. On the sixth day, because the situation is getting worse, Gloria in the Palace said to his critics:
Let everyone who wants to see the report go and ask the AFP.

But when everybody went to the AFP, the generals stamped it "Classified". And AFP said releasing the report could risk the government's security. And nobody could read the report.

And Gloria in the Palace saw it was good(?)

7. On the seventh day, Gloria in the Palace rested. (Cha-cha time?)

Many are still wondering about the contents of the report. Was it whitewashed? Were those written in the report true? Bakit si Mayuga na-promote? Bakit di si Kerubim? O kaya si Danny Lim? Bakit ang uwak ay itim? At si Jojo ay duling? .... sorry!

Balik sa report: Bakit ginawang classified? Kala ko ba si Gloria in the Palace ang head ng AFP? Bakit di siya nasunod? Bakit si Mike Defensor ang nakialam? Sa AFP na rin ba siya? Asan na ang Gloria? Ba't gutom pa rin ang masa? Iyong rice and noodle, ba't ginawang poodle? Si Congressman sa amin, kotse ay dumami. Sa rice and noodle ba umani? .... ulit, sorry!

Tama na ang tanong. Tayo lang ay nalelelong! Gumawa na lang ulit tayo ng haka-haka sa report ni Mayuga.

Friends, base sa research ni Tikboy, ang ibig sabihin ng "mayuga" sa Bicol ay "nagagalaw". Ang rootword po ay "yuga" at ang variation nito sa standard Bicol ay"yugyog" na halos pareho rin sa Tagalog. May implikasyon po kaya ito sa sinasabing Mayuga Report na siya ring dahilan bakit na-promote si Col?
