National Artist AWOL... err, Awards

It's final: FPJ's widow will not climb the stage to get Poe's National Artist Award from Arroyo.

"I will be doing a grave dishonor to my husband and his supporters if I attend the awarding ceremonies just to receive the award for public show," Susan Roces said.

Which led Malacanang to react. Speaking through Mike Defensor, the Palace stated that it's too sad ceremonies like these are tainted with politics.

Medyo di rin makapal. Who started politicking, anyway?

At ba't pa sila magkokomentaryo? Who's tainting the ceremonies with politics?

Aber? Aber? Aber?
